UCD Marian Academy starts this Saturday the 28th of August in Marian College Ballsbridge. Training will start for boys aged 8 to 13 at 2.30pm with coaches Ciaran Dunne,Ken Maloney and Matthew Kelly. Who are we? 

UCD-Marian Basketball Club is Ireland's oldest basketball club.It is based in University College Dublin Sports Centre in Belfield, Dublin 4 and serves the south county Dublin area.Training and playing venues are located in Belfield,Marian College, St Andrews College and other facilities in South Dublin.

UCD U20s

 

Superleague 

UCD Marian competes in the Superleague; Basketball Ireland's top division for senior men.The team comprises of overseas semi-professional players, scholarship students at UCD and experienced senior players from the area. It was one of the founder clubs of the Irish National League in 1974 and has been everpresent since. Superleague games are held in UCD  Sports Centre,Belfield on alternate Sunday afternoons at 3pm between October and March.

  

Aims of the Club

UCD Marian Basketball Club is dedicated to promoting, playing and developing the sport of basketball in South County Dublin.It does this through its Mens Superleague programme, its senior mens teams, its underage section and its nursery coaching programme.In addition, the club provides basketball coaches for many primary and post primary schools in the area and strives to constantly improve
