Latest News: The D2 team recorded an excellent double digit victory over northside rivals Killester last Monday night in St. Michaels. The team playing without U20 star Paddy Young managed to up their defence in the second half to limit the hot shooting of Killester's Conor Gordon. Coach: Gerry Barron Players: Charles Farrell Michael Clancy Thomas Zybulski Aidan O'Connor Martin Fox Jamie Anderson Paddy Young John Young Niall Forbes Jim Gorman Conor Boland Jack Conroy 2009 has seen a much more motivated team on the court not only at matches, but also at training and it's beginning to pay off. After a slow start to the season, the team has won 3 out of 3 games in January, 2 league games against Naas and Killester, and a closely contested cup match win against Div 1 side Malahide. A great defensive effort all round and a combined 40 points from Thomas Zybulski and John Young clinched a 6 point win. The team is delighted to make it back to Dublin cup final weekend after losing to Vincents in the final last season. Although the team has clinched the league title 2 years in a row, with a few losses early in the season and Lucan Lions' unbeaten record, the threepeat might be out of reach even if the lads remain unbeaten for the rest of the season. That said, the players are focused on giving 100% in every game and will be looking to make it three Top4 wins in a row.
